An amalgam of these slides made up the final 2010 presentation. It’s an annual conference, run by Peter Davies. The talk was about how and why the Casuals were formed in 1952. Die-hard league men tend to make up the audience, so a gentleman’s cricket club was not necessarily their preferred topic. It went well enough, followed by Rupert giving his own spin on Sunday cricket. We both wore jacket and tie, commented upon by the compere, Rob Light; ‘the two best dressed presenters’.
